Montreal, April 21, 2018
On April 21, hundreds of north Americans Kabyle protesters marched peacefully through the streets of Montreal, the largest city in Canada’s Québec province, toward the Algeria Consulate, to mark the 38th anniversary of the Amazigh Spring, and to condemn Algeria’s flagrant violation of human rights in Kabyle region, mass detention of Kabyle activists and to urge the public opinion at the national and international levels to positively  support the Memorandum for the independence of Kabylia, submitted to the UN back on October 2017.
