In 2016, the arte channel and film director Myriam Bou-saha, went on a trip to meet a young Tunisian tattoo artist named Manel Mahdouani. They followed her to an adventure in south Tunisia, to meet in person the latest generation of tattooed Amazigh women to discover some old Amazigh tattoo designs and find the history behind it and try to revive it on the body of young generations.
