Thousands of mourners attended the funeral of Djamel Allam in the eastern Kabyle city of Bgayet on Tuesday.
Djamel Allam, was one of the Kabylian’s most well-regarded singer and painter. he died Friday after a long struggle with illness at a Paris hospital.
His body was brought to her home city of Bgayet by plane early Tuesday, and he was laid to rest at the city cemetery.
