Tamazight is Declared An Official Language in Amazigh Concentrated Districts in Libya

LibyaLibya | AWN – The Amazigh High Council (LAHC) in Libya has issued a circular declaring Tamazight as the official language in the major Amazigh inhabited cities and districts in Libya, said a news report yesterday.

This decision status will legally allow the Amazigh language to be taught in public schools, featured in state paperwork and documents as well as correspondences and signboards.
