Tinariwen Announced Their New Album, ‘ELWAN’

Tinariwen have announced their new album ‘ELWAN (The Elephants)’. Due out early next year, The album was recorded partially in the desert of California’s Joshua Tree National Park and M’Hamid El Ghizlane oasis in southern Morocco.

The follow-up to their 2014 album ‘Emmaar’ comes out on February 10th 2017 via Anti-. and it features guest appearances by Kurt Vile, Matt Sweeny, Mark Lanegan, and others. Until then, the band have things covered excitement-wise – they’re playing several concerts around the globe.
