Amazigh Spring ‘Tafsut Imazighen’ Commemoration in Boston

Boston – This April 20th, 2019 marks 39 years since the Amazigh Spring “Tafsut Imazighen”. To commemorate this special event, the Amazigh Cultural Network in America and ACAA are partnering together to host an event on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 from 5pm to 9pm at Veronica Robles cultural center located at 175 William F McClellan Hwy in Boston, MA.

The event will include a panel discussion, presentations and a live Amazigh music featuring Thilelli band and local artist.

There will be also a Potluck reception with refreshments during the event. Everyone is welcome and admission is free but donation are welcome to cover the room cost.

Tafsut Imazighen or Amazigh Spring was a period of political protest and civil activism dated back in 1980, claiming recognition of the Amazigh identity in Algeria with events mainly taking place in Kabylie.
