Fes — In his latest audio message from Fez prison, Rif Hirak leader activist, Nasser Zefzafi, describes how Moroccan police forcibly removed him from his home, stripped, beat, and pissed on him, all while repeating “long live the king.”
“They (policemen) kicked me, spat on me, put me to the ground and took off my clothes. They pissed on me and rubbed their genitals against my face (…) while I was handcuffed, they put a stick in my anus.” says Nasser Zefzafi.
On the other hand, the acting director of Fes state prison, was immediately fired after leaked audio.
Nasser Zefzafi is currently serving a 20-year sentence in Morocco prison for his leading role in Rif Hirak movement in Northern Morocco’s Neglected Rif Region protests calling the state to tackle corruption and address social and economic problems.
