Tizi Wezzu (AWN) | Following the third congress of Movement for Self-determination of Kabylia (MAK) held yesterday, February 26, 2016 in Tizi Ouzou, Mr Bouaziz Ait Chebib was unanimously re-elected as President of MAK for another term while Ferhat Mehenni was reappointed as the chief of Kabyle Provisional Government in Exile (Anavad).
The conference’s 3rd session brought together over 700 delegates from around the world despite several “power cuts” and illegal detainment of at least 200 Amazigh militants by the Algerian regime to prevent them from attending the meeting.
