Tunis to host Tumast Festival to Celebrate Amazigh New Year

Tunis – On the occasion of the Amazigh New Year celebrations 2970, a number of activists and organizers from Libya and Tunisia will be organizing together Tumast Festival, a music festival to mark the coming new year.

Tumast Festival will be held on January 13, 2020, at the North Star Theater in Tunis. According to the organizer, the aim of the festival is to bring together Amazigh artists from all over North Africa to engage in their creative process, participate in Amazigh arts enrichment despite their different backgrounds. 

The one day music festival will feature more than ten Amazigh artists from six different African countries such as from Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Niger and Mali.
