U.N. Urges Morocco to speed up the process of Amazigh Rights Demands

020151006115341AMGeneva (AWN) | Following the proposal of  Amazigh organizations and human right activists, The United Nations urges the Moroccan state on Tuesday to speed up its process for Officialize Tamazight language based on Article 5 of the Moroccan Constitution. The UN also demanded the Moroccan state to offer Tamazight education in elementary school, high schools, and colleges and increase the use of Tamazight in the media and calls the Moroccan Authorities for the elimination of all forms of  discrimination against the Amazigh population of Morocco.
