[dropcap]M[/dropcap]orocco security forces have once again used excessive force to violently suppress a peaceful protest organized by the local committee of Rif movement in Nador —one of the major cites in Rif region—on Wednesday June 28, 2107.[ads1]A witness said ten minutes after the protest against Morocco government oppression and arbitrary arrests of Rif movement leaders, began outside of Nador city hall, he, witnessed heavily armed security forces arriving, carrying batons and shields. They immediately began to charge towards the protesters, violently striking them with the wooden batons and truncheons causing at least 5 people were severely injured, including one journalist covering the event.
