PARIS — The Espace Culturel Franco-Amazigh in Paris will open its doors to the public on Saturday, September 19, offering visitors a look at its 2026–27 cultural and language program before activities begin in October.
The open house is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 5 impasse Onfroy in the French capital’s 13th arrondissement, according to the Réseau Culturel Franco-Berbère (CBF), which announced the event this week.
The center’s published program places Kabyle language learning alongside music and visual arts. Its 2026–27 activities are set to run from October 2026 through June 2027 and include adult Kabyle courses at three levels, a choir, flamenco-Amazigh guitar lessons, bendir percussion classes and a painting workshop.
Kabyle classes are scheduled on weekday evenings: Mondays for complete beginners, Tuesdays for intermediate learners and Wednesdays for beginners. The organization says the courses are open to people who want to discover, learn or strengthen their command of Taqbaylit. Registration details are also available in the CBF’s course announcement.
The open house comes as Franco-Amazigh associations in the Paris region prepare a new season of language transmission and community arts. For diaspora organizations, regular classes and workshops provide a setting in which language practice can continue beyond the home while music and art create additional points of entry for participants with different levels of familiarity.
