New York – It is with sadness that we note today the passing of a wonderful man, Scholar, teacher and Amazigh activist, Brahim Ainani this morning, Friday, June 13th, in New York, reportedly after a battle with illness.
It’s indeed a huge loss for the Amazigh teaching community, not too mention a huge loss to the Amazigh movement as well.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ainani’s family in Ait Usammer, in south eastern Morocco, his friends and fans around the world.Â
