Just in time for International Mother Language Day, I have an exhibition of carvings that has gone up at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont—an exhibition that includes a carving based on Amazigh Tifinagh calligraphy by Madghis Madi. The exhibition consists of the phrase “Mother tongue” in 13 different endangered written or spoken languages. It is open until March 10, and I will be glad to show any visitors around personally.
